Oregano

Oregano – lat. Origanum vulgare – is a plant species of the family of the mint. It has been used for a long time as a spice and medicinal plant.
In modern animal nutrition, oregano is one of the most important herbal active ingredients due to its bactericidal and fungicide properties.

The ethereal oregano oil is the important ingredient of the oreganoplant.
Oregano is composed of many different components, the phenols. Important components of the oregano oil include Carvacrol, Thymol, Linalool, P-Cymen, gamma-Terpinen and Caryophyllene.

For the evaluation of the curative effect of the oreganoplant, however, it is always important not to consider individual active ingredients in isolation, but to consider the interaction of all components of the oregano oil.
The oreganoplant has developed its oil over a very long period of time to protect itself from fungi and bacterial diseases. Thus, only all the ingredients taken together make the oregano oil to the agent with the best natural-herbal antibacterial effect.

Also in modern science and modern medicine there are products based on the effect of the oreganoplant. Thus, products oregano oil are used in the treatment of fungal infections in the oral cavity or in gastrointestinal diseases such as diarrhea and flatulence successfully employed in humans.

In animal nutrition, increased use of antibiotics is increasingly critical. There are already countries that have regulated the use of antibiotics and have greatly reduced them with the help of legal regulations.
For this reason, the search for a natural alternative for the mass use of antibiotics is given ever greater attention.

In the case of indigestion and bacterial diseases of the animals, oregano is often used for stabilizing the margin-intestinal tract.
The antibacterial effect of the natural oregano oil has already shown good effects in practice against diseases by E. coli, Clostridia, Coccidia, Cryptosporidium or Histomonaden (Schwarzkopf disease).

In order to achieve the optimal antibacterial effect, it is very important to use an oregano oil with a very good 100% natural quality.
